Information we collect

1. Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message, and keep a copy so nothing is lost. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address, the date you signed up and your IP address, which helps us block spam signups. When you leave a comment, WordPress stores your name, email, comment and IP address. We only collect what you choose to send.

2. Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting server records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. If analytics or advertising services are active, they may collect information such as pages visited and device type, subject to your cookie choices.

3. Audio you load into our tools. Our free tools, such as the Key and BPM Finder, process audio in your own browser. Your files are not uploaded to us.

How long we keep data

We keep contact messages and newsletter signups until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe, or until we no longer need them. Server logs are kept only as long as our host needs them for security.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in some regions. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
